SCC provides this information as a guide. It is
not meant to be an all-inclusive listing of tools, equipment,
etc. needed for every job. Always ask your foreman or
supervisor if any special items are required for the job you
are assigned to do. Make sure all tools and equipment are in safe
operating condition by inspecting them prior to first use. Look for
obvious signs of damage and replace item(s) when necessary to avoid
injuring yourself and other electricians on the job.
Seasoned electricians know quality tools
are worth every extra dollar you pay. The
right tool also makes your life easier by
reducing task time and frequent tool replacement cost. If you
are serious about your work, invest in professional quality
tools!
